After almost 5 years of arduous work Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel opened
its doors successfully last August 6. The first guests remained
delighted
with the service, the infrastructure, the quality in the food and
the attention that from already offers in the hotel, close 4 Machu Picchu's stars be categorized as the
First hotel.
Sumaq Machu picchu hotel offers 60 wide and luxurious rooms in three
categories: Superiors of luxe (46), junior suites (11) and Sumaq
Suites (3), all of them equipped with Spanish shower, electronic
system of detection of smoke, alarm against fires, thermal heating,
wireless Internet, frigobar, TV, radio mp3, cable and safety box,
among other things.
The design of the hotel, a combination of very good taste and of
measureless dedication of Carmen Begazo de Clavijo, creative of the
concept and design, there are unique pieces inspired by the Inca
culture, The same ones who adapt in its entirety to the environment.

Peruvians and to foreign nationals with 60
consecutive days or more in Peru. To avoid this tax,
foreign nationals and Peruvians who live abroad must
present during hotel check-in their Customs stamped
Andean Immigration Card - TAM, their Customs stamped
original passport and the visa that certifies they
live abroad (this last requirement is only for
Peruvians that live outside Peru). Additionally, in
case the room is shared by both a taxable and a
non-taxable guest at the same time, the Sales Tax
will be applied.
